About My Family Practice (And Me)

Rather than a biography written by someone else, I thought I would speak to you directly so you get to know more about me personally and what I believe in as a long-time practitioner focused on and totally passionate about Family Medicine.

I invite you to explore this website, to learn more about our unique, holistic approach to treatment and what every member of my team is committed to in terms of your visit. Let’s start with the last thing first.

At our locations in Round Lake and Glenview, you can expect to be treated in a compassionate and professional manner by every member of our staff. During your appointment, I will give you my undivided attention, listen carefully, and examine you with every ounce of skill my 25 years of experience has given me.

It is my fervent hope that we can build a long-term relationship based on trust. I expect that you will trust my skill and judgement in caring for you, and I trust that you will share honestly with me about everything and anything that you feel is important to your care and long-term well-being.

Our Interdisciplinary Holistic Approach

Rather than focus on one method of treatment, we at the Midwestern Institute of Health, Ltd., embrace multiple disciplines. We take a holistic approach to patient treatment that treats the body, mind and emotional state, rather than focusing just on your disease.

We borrow from many disciplines, including traditional Western Medicine, a relative newcomer compared to some of the techniques we use that have been proven to work for 3500 years! We have had great patient success with Herbal Remedies, Vitamin Therapy, and Acupuncture for those who desire it.

We put emphasis on a Holistic approach, which supports the idea that the body can cure itself.

Preventive Care
– A Pound Of Cure

We are wholly committed to preventive medicine, knowing that preventive care will allow you to stay healthy and access prompt treatment if a problem does develop. We follow USPSTF screening guidelines.

Be Well. Feel Well. Live Well.

One of the biggest benefits of being a family physician is my chance to develop a keen awareness of predispositions to disease within family members. Over the course of 25 years, I’ve delivered many children who now bring their own children to me. My youngest patient is one day old and my oldest patient is 102 years old.

Finally, we are in this together in a partnership. With a mutual commitment to wellness: “Be well. Feel Well. Live Well,” let’s enjoy a healthy relationship for a long time.
